I understand that the services provided by Caroline Clarke Heal
Your Pain are intended to improve posture, movement, and functional
alignment through non-medical, educational techniques. These services
do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and are
not a substitute for consultation with a qualified medical professional.
2. Scope of Practice
Caroline Clarke is not a registered medical practitioner, physiotherapist,
or osteopath. I confirm that I understand these services are complementary
and should not replace medical care.
3. Assumption of Risk
I understand that posture and movement sessions may involve physical
activity, which carries inherent risks. I voluntarily assume full
responsibility for any risks, injuries, or adverse effects that
may arise as a result of my participation, except where such injury
is caused by the negligence or breach of duty of Caroline Clarke
Heal Your Pain.
4. Health Information
I confirm that I have disclosed all relevant medical conditions,
injuries, or other factors that may affect my participation in sessions.
I agree to inform Caroline Clarke of any changes to my health status
before further sessions.
5. Personal Responsibility
I understand and accept that I am solely responsible for their
own health, body, and physical well-being during and after each
session. Clients must use their own judgement and are expected to
work within their personal physical limits. It is the client's responsibility
to communicate any pain, discomfort, or concerns to the practitioner
immediately.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, I agree that Caroline
Clarke Heal Your Pain shall not be liable for any loss, damage,
or injury suffered by me in connection with the services provided,
except where such liability arises from negligence, breach of statutory
duty, or wilful misconduct.
7. Cancellations and Fees
I understand that missed or cancelled appointments with less than
24 hours notice may be charged at the full session fee. Caroline
Clarke Heal Your Pain reserves the right to reschedule sessions
with reasonable notice.
8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All personal information shared will be treated as confidential
and handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection
Act 2018. Your data will not be shared without your consent, except
as required by law or where there is a safeguarding concern.
9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Any concerns or complaints should be raised in writing to Caroline
Clarke in an email to caroline@carolinejclarke.com. We aim to resolve
disputes amicably. You also have the right to escalate complaints
to an appropriate professional body or the small claims court, if
applicable.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of England and Wales (or Scotland, if applicable), and
any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
courts of that jurisdiction.
